Our children have been at The Rock Academy since 2018. It has been the best decision we have made for them, and for our family. Currently in Grades 7 and 6, The Rock Academy has laid a God-based foundation for them on the educational front. The teachers not only see this as their job, but as a ministry. They are truly passionate about what they do and only want the best for our children. The small classes have given each child the opportunity for individual attention. Many of the parents have become friends due to our children’s friendships. It is not just a school – we are part of a family.

I am a grandmother who takes care of a young grandson whose mother has passed away. We are very grateful to The Rock Academy for helping us with his education. He is thriving and very happy at the school. The teachers have been wonderful and caring. What we appreciate is the direct contact with the teachers. The classes are smal, no more than 12 children per class. There is no bullying and the children are taught to be kind and polite. I was a Foundation Phase teacher once, and I am very supportive of the content the children are being taught. When I told my grandson I was going to write about his school, his reply was, “ I love my school”.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mrs Oelofse and the entire staff of the Rock Academy for their dedication to giving the best education to our children. It is without hesitation that I would recommend the school as the best in the Valley. Moreover the school’s Christian foundation helps to mould good character, discipline and respect in children. The exemplary dedicated teachers are the best in paying attention to each child’s uniqueness and special needs, which helps them to achieve their full potential. The Rock Academy also nurtures children in a safe and caring environment that promotes self confidence. As a parent who has been part of the school for six years and still continues to be, I am more than thankful to Mrs Oelofse and the whole Rock Academy staff.

What a privilege to send all 3 of my girls to this wonderful school! The Rock Academy is a school of high standards and Christian values. The teachers are loving, supportive and passionate about teaching and the character development of the children. The classes are small with a maximum of 12 children in a class. There is a strong sense of togetherness and inclusion, and we have loved being part of The Rock Academy family.

As parents of two children, Emily and Thomas, we were looking for something different in the school system. We had homeschooled our children for 2 years, when I took ill and was advised to put them into a school. This was difficult because we knew what was out there. So we prayed fervently about it. I went on to Google and The Rock Academy popped up first!  What’s that by accident? Definitely not! We discovered that The Rock Academy is a Christian school with all the right values that we were looking for. We, as a family have not looked back, since this was the beginning of 2017. The school emphasis ‘THE CHILD’,  not by number, but by name and character. It always aims to bring out the best in the child. Our children are better young people for this. We receive compliments on a daily basis, with regard to Emily’s and Thomas’s manner, confidence and self esteem. As a family we are very grateful and thankful to the teachers and the principal of the Rock Academy, for their dedication and love, not only to the children but also to us, their parents. We wish The Rock Academy much prosperity and growth into the future.

I’m forever grateful for having my daughter at The Rock Academy. When I enrolled her, she was a little bit behind. The most amazing thing was the support my child got – and the communication from the teachers is phenomenal. They never miss anything happening with their students. My daughter got both educational and emotional support from her teachers and she still does. The educational and moral standards of the school are awesome. It’s a safe and beautiful environment for kids.  I’m looking forward to having her little sister joining her next year. The Rock Academy is one of the best schools!

I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate Mrs Oelofse and the whole Rock Academy staff,  for they have helped to build character, inspire dreams, encourage  creativity and build confidence in my  children.It is also worth mentioning that their dedication and leadership have been vital to moulding better children, mine included. We have been unbelievably blessed to have found this school. Academically, it has covered all that we hoped for, but the blessing has come from the pervading air of respect and caring that is all encompassing. Each and every teacher has made our child feel seen and heard, but, most especially, loved. In terms of his sense of worth and self esteem, it isn’t possible to put a value on this experience.

I love the fact that The Rock Academy is a Christian school. All the kids are given extra care and attention. l will  choose The Rock Academy over and over again.The teachers are amazing and always welcoming.
